History
Since our inception in 1993, Uform – formerly known as Oakwood Door Designs – has undergone significant changes. Established by the Donnelly family to manufacture and supply kitchen doors and components, the company has experienced phenomenal growth and continues to manufacture for an ever-increasing customer base of kitchen retailers and distributors throughout Ireland and the UK.

Initially located in 6,000 square feet of space, our order book grew to such an extent that in 1997 we needed the extra capacity of a new factory and two further extensions; so much so that in the same year we were acclaimed one of the fastest growth companies in Northern Ireland, only to achieve this accolade again in 1999. This pivotal period in our development exceeded all our expectations and our commitment to training and improving our in-house people eventually paid off when we received the Investors in People Award in 2003.

Our continued expansion and driving force of our management team have allowed us to achieve the controlled growth necessary to maintain our position in a very sophisticated and professional kitchen market – a policy we aim to progress and improve on in the years to come.
