  • Arrange customer consultation meetings (telephone, online or face to face when required) to discuss design briefs, project progress or amends and presenting back finished plans.
  • Develop a customer facing presentation pack including CAD visuals, suggested propping and summary of featured products and codes, allowing customers to place orders once signed-off.

  • Attend customer facing visits with area sales managers when warranted.
  • Provide an impeccable service for our customers – ensuring designs are inspiring and tailored to each customer’s requirements.
  • Create new set designs and styling guides for the Uform Design Centre – with direction from the Category Team to ensure product presentation meets the original NPI introduction concept.
  • Help check and improve accuracy of Uform product representation on CAD planning software catalogues.
  • Involvement in the development and the creation of new CGI sets for the business including design and concept input into the initial brief and acting as a key member throughout the production process, providing feedback during amend stages and final sign-off.
  • Involvement in the NPI (new product introduction) process when required including the creation of conceptual design visuals for supplier briefs and production of technical drawings.
  • Provide support to marketing to proof technical documents and supply set based visuals where necessary
  • Attend industry events and exhibitions where relevant.

Required skills & experience:

  • We’re looking for candidates who have a passion for design with creative flare & technical ability.
  • Previous 3 years experience in kitchen, furniture or home interior design is essential.
  • Knowledge and experience of using CAD planning tools such as Compusoft Winner, ArtiCAD, Fusion 2020 or AutoCAD.
  • Familiarity of graphic design software e.g. Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator would also be beneficial.
