Uform Announces Winner of The Open Golf Competition

Uform marked the recent 148th Open Golf tournament by offering their customers the opportunity to win a luxury golf break.

Caroline Kitchens Ltd of Whitstable, Kent were the lucky winners who now have a £1,000 voucher to spend on a break of their choice in association with leading provider GolfBreaks.com.

Commenting on the prize draw, Uform’s Marketing Manager Ursula O’Dowd said, ‘With golf’s oldest tournament teeing off right on our home soil, we felt it fitting to be able to commemorate the occasion with a customer focused giveaway.  Royal Portrush isn’t too far from our Co.Antrim base and with it being the largest ever sporting event to be hosted in Northern Ireland to date and one of the most challenging links courses in the world, we wanted to be able to do something special for our customer base.  We’re so pleased to be able to reward Caroline Kitchens Ltd with this fantastic prize and we hope to bring more competitions to retailers in the future’.

Uform Expands UK Sales Team

Uform has continued to grow its UK Sales Team through the recent appointment of two new Area Sales Managers.

Kelly Mitchell joins as Area Sales Manager for South Central England and has a wealth of experience within construction industry including working on prestigious sites such as 20 Fenchurch Street in the heart of London’s financial district, Heathrow Terminal 2 and the leading biomedical research centre, the Francis Crick Institute.  More recently, Kelly was employed as a Key Account Manager by Diversey, a global cleaning chemical manufacturer whose clients include Caffe Nero, Harrods, Moto Motorway Service Stations and Servest FM.

Julie Sturges also joins the UK Sales Team as Area Sales Manager for the East Anglia area having previously worked as an Area Account Manager for one of UK’s fastest growing independent office suppliers, Northampton based Bluefish Office Products Ltd.  Julie’s brings years of experience in developing new business opportunities, in addition to selling a diverse range of product lines.  Before her experience in office products, Julie also worked in the fashion watch and jewellery industry with various roles in sales, visual merchandising and training.

Uform Named as 2019 BKU Award Winner

Uform has continued its success at this year’s prestigious BKU Awards for the fifth consecutive year.

The company received the coveted ‘Best Overall Kitchen Brand’ accolade at the glittering event which took place at The Pavillion at The Tower of London on 20th June.

Since its inception back in 2015, the awards have gone from strength to strength in terms of securing its position as a key event on the industry calendar.

Uform Announces New Appointments

Uform has recently expanded their team with the recruitment of new roles across the Finance, Sales, Business Development and the IT functions of the business.

Simon Snoddy has joined the Board of Directors as the new Group Finance Director and will be responsible for the company’s financial strategy to ensure profitable long-term growth.  Simon brings a wealth of experience with previous roles including Finance Director for leading recruitment agency Staffline Ireland where he was pivotal in the acquisition of its main competitor, Grafton Recruitment.  Previous to this Simon worked in the media sector for Independent News & Media (NI) as Finance Director for 8 years and also worked as Senior Management for PricewaterhouseCoopers in Belfast. 

Two Area Sales Manager appointments have been made within the UK Sales Team with the appointment of Danny Fowler who will lead the Yorkshire area and Scott Dunn who will lead the East Midlands area.  Danny’s previous experience includes Territory Sales Management for construction company Sig PLC and positions within leading stationery company Lyreco UK; ranging from Senior Sales Executive to Business Development Manager. 

Scott’s previous experience includes over 7 years with Worcester Bosch as an Area Sales Manager and more recently 4 years with JLA supplying industrial catering equipment into the restaurant and hotel industry.

Natasha Shaw and Susan Burrows join the growing BDU Team and will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities and building relationships with existing customers.

Ronan Bothwell has also joined the company as a Business Intelligence Engineer and will be pivotal in the development of platforms which provide accurate customer data to make sound business decisions.

Uform’s Fundraising Initiatives Raises Over £7k for Charities

Kitchen manufacturer and distributor Uform has participated in two recent events in order to raise funds for four charities.

In May, 3 relay teams of 14 employees took to the streets of Belfast to complete the Belfast City Marathon.  For Team Uform, this event was focussed on raising much needed funds for three named charities, MND Association which improves care and support for people with Motor Neuron Disease, their families and carers, Marie Curie which provides care and support for people living with terminal illness and the Dialysis Unit at the Belfast City Hospital.

In early June, the company, in conjunction with Jacobs Supercars, played host to a ‘Cars and Coffee’ event at their Co.Antrim premises with all funds raised going towards Charis Cancer Care, a local Co.Tyrone based charity which provides support for men and women affected by cancer at every stage of their journey.
Over 500 people were in attendance to view over 200 cars on display, including all types and models of sports cars including some very special editions.

Commenting on the recent initiatives, Uform’s Fundraising Lead, Michelle Doyle said, ‘We’re so pleased to be able to give something back as a team.  A lot of people are going through their own personal battles with their health and every year we choose a selection of charities which are very close to colleague’s hearts in Uform.  Collectively we’ve raised over £7,000 for these four main charities and it’s really humbling to be in a position to do this’.

The list published by the Institute of Directors, which is sponsored by leading global accountancy firm BDO, identifies and celebrates the success of locally owned businesses in Northern Ireland, many of whom have been successful in global markets. 

Uform sits proudly at number 60 after a record year of growth, one of a number of family owned companies who have dominated the Top 100 this year.  79% of the companies listed are in fact family owned with a record-breaking 9 out of Top 10 all being family owned firms.

Uform Recognised in Northern Irelands Top SME List

Uform has been named among some of the top SMEs in Northern Ireland in a list released by Ulster University.

The ‘Top 50 Homegrown Businesses’ were recognised at an event in Titanic Belfast this week sponsored by leading accountancy firm, Harbinson Mulholland.  Uform was named at number 32 among an impressive list of prestigious Northern Ireland companies.

70 guests gathered to celebrate the pivotal role that SME’s play in this sector of the business community, impressively, over 99% of the local business sector in Northern Ireland is made up of small businesses.  Over 5,700 jobs are represented by this Top 50 and £170 million of wages.

Commenting on the event, Uform CEO Eamon Donnelly commented, ‘To be list in the Top 50 Homegrown businesses in Northern Ireland is a true privilege.  While our businesses focusses on UK & Ireland, it’s humbling to be recognised at a regional level in terms of our growth and in particular our contribution to the job market and the opportunities that we offer.  We now have a team of over 220, most of which are from our local area and this is only set to grow further as have ambitious growth plans for the future.’

Uform Makes Top 100 NI Manufacturing Companies List

Insider’s Manufacturing 100 2019, a list of the top manufacturing businesses in Northern Ireland by turnover, was published last week and Uform made the cut at number 91.

The annual Northern Ireland Manufacturing 100 list has been compiled using data supplied by Experian MIQ and is sponsored by ABL Group, Deloitte, HSBC and MCS Group. 

Uform’s last financial year end April 2018 resulted in turnover of £29.3m and a pre-tax profit of £3.5million.

Uform In the Running for BKU Awards 2019

Uform has progressed through to the voting stage of the 2019 BKU Awards in 4 individual categories.

The company has been listed under the Best Component Brand, Best Overall Kitchen Brand and Best Distributor Brand.

Eight of the company’s Sales Managers have also been named under the Best Sales Representative category, four for NI & ROI, Mark McNulty, Ian Rogan, Ian Mellerick and Irish National Sales Manager Brian Dunne.  The remaining four represents the UK Sales Team, namely Alistair Jones, James Offord, Neville Park and Regional Sales Manager Mark Jacobs.

Uform Reduces Paint to Order Lead Times

Uform is pleased to announce a reduction in lead times for its Paint to Order timber items.

This latest development means that Paint to Order timber items are now back to a day 10 lead time, which comes as a result of the company’s recent £4million investment programme which was completed at the end of 2018.

Commenting on the news, Uform CEO Eamon Donnelly says, ‘Following the success of our attendance at KBB last year where we launched a number of innovative ranges along with a new Kitchen Stori brochure concept, we experienced an unprecedented demand for paint to order products in the months that followed. The trend for bold statement colours heavily influenced demand also so overall, internal capacity proved challenging as we were also in the throes of a £4 million investment programme which we’re now pleased to report is complete. We’re more confident than ever that we can continue to provide an unrivalled buying experience for our retailers both in terms of service levels and the diverse ranges and finishes that we offer.’

Uform’s recent investment includes 50,000sq ft additional space for accommodating popular ex-stock ranges such as the Aldana skinny shaker, a 10,000sq ft dedicated despatch area for more efficient delivery of product to retailers as well as new painting and polishing capacity to help keep lead times to a minimum. New IT platforms have also been deployed for smarter workflows, increased traceability and ultimately improved communication with their customer base.

Uform Invests £100k in Design Centre Revamp

Uform is delighted to unveil its recently refurbished state of the art Design Centre at its premises in Co.Antrim, Northern Ireland.

Over the last 4 months, the company has been working extensively on numerous upgrades to the 7,500sq ft space to include 8 cutting-edge displays which feature the latest door styles from its market leading consumer brand, Kitchen Stori.  In addition to this, the space now incorporates a dedicated product research and development area for capturing customer feedback and an area which focuses exclusively on colours and finishes.

Commenting on the latest updates, Uform’s Product and Design Centre Manager, Sara Cotter says, ‘We’re extremely pleased to be able to unveil a fresh new look for our Design Centre.  We’ve made a substantial investment in this space and based on feedback from our trade customers to date, we’re thrilled at how well it has been received. The space propels product design to a whole other level, the fusion of colours, finishes and ranges on display really show retailers the extent of choice and endless design possibilities that our products offer. 

Cotter continues, ‘In addition to this, our continual focus on product innovation is key as we look ahead to what we’ll be bringing to market in 2019/2020 and beyond.  Our new research area incorporates a number of prototypes and survey software to empower our retailers to have their say in future product ranges’.

The Design Centre showcases 30 displays across the whole Uform product portfolio.  A diverse range of styles from contemporary to classic, in varying colours and finishes such as gloss, painted, matte and timbers are available to view.

Uform Shares Key Trends From Living Kitchen 2019

In their quest to remain leaders in product design, the Uform product design team recently made the trip to Cologne to seek inspiration from international show, Living Kitchen.

42,000sq metres of cutting-edge design was on show from over 200 exhibitors across 28 countries. 

In terms of kitchen door design, the simple slab door construction seemed to be the dominant style with less of the shaker style door on show.  Slab doors were complemented by various shelving systems and modular style stacking. Metal frames for doors and shelves were also featured throughout as well as industrial style textured glass doors.

Another very prominent trend coming through was the use of the same material for both worktops and doors to create a very seamless look.  Rustic timbers were also on display as well as open timber drawers. 

In terms of colours, darker and warmer tones were strong with many exhibition stands veering away from the grey tones which are still very much in vogue currently.  A fusion of timbers and painted finishes were popular and in terms of overall styling, many displays showcased an opulent choice of colour propping.  Heavy bolder patterns for walls were popular resulting in a very abstract, eye catching space in most instances.

After many years of working together, Uform has now formally joined the ArtiCAD Supplier Partnership, underpinning the strong working relationship between the two companies.

Uform’s Product Manager, Sara Cotter said, ‘We’re pleased to make this latest announcement.  We believe this latest step will help to provide an enhanced buying experience for our retailers nationwide.  By being part of the Supplier Programme, we can make it even easier for customers to specify our products in their designs which in turn can enable them to have endless design possibilities at their fingertips’.

New Uform graphics for designers using the ArtiCAD-Pro software are now available for both the Aisling and Uform catalogues.  For the Aisling brand, these include an updated door and materials library, configurations for tall units so that they are available ‘off the shelf’ for designers rather than having to create them and additional accessories such as mantles and spice racks.

Uform To Expand Further Following BGF Investment

Uform has secured a multimillion pound funding package from BGF and Danske Bank. BGF is the UK and Ireland’s most active investor in small and mid-sized businesses.

Uform is the fifth company in Northern Ireland to receive investment from BGF which has taken a minority shareholding in the business. Uform supplies over 1,000 kitchens a week to a range of independent retailers through its market leading consumer brand, Kitchen Stori. The company will use the investment to expand its strong offering further into the UK, Northern Irish and Republic of Ireland markets.

BGF has provided more than £40m of patient capital to Northern Ireland businesses over the past 3 years.  Its current portfolio companies in Northern Ireland are: family-owned housebuilder Braidwater; recycling company RiverRidge; coffee and food shop chain Bob & Berts; and software developer AuditComply.

Eamon Donnelly, CEO of Uform, said: “We started a four-phase growth strategy in 2013 and the business has grown rapidly in that time.  We’ve invested heavily in doubling the size of our operation and installed state of the art paint lines to increase our productivity and product range.  Uform is an ambitious company and we want to continue our pace of growth across the UK and Ireland in the coming years.

Uform Takes Part in Mission Christmas Cash for Kids Appeal

Uform is delighted to actively participate in the Cool FM Mission Christmas Cash for Kids appeal to help local children in need during the festive period.

‘Reliant the Robin’ is out and about pointing Santa to all of the children at risk of waking up to nothing on Christmas morning and the Uform team are doing their bit to help spread some festive cheer among those less fortunate.

Commenting on the appeal, Uform Senior Buyer & fundraising lead, Michelle Doyle said, ‘We’re so proud to take part in this very worthy cause this Christmas.  The Uform team will contribute over 65 gifts for children at various different ages who are sick, disabled or disadvantaged across the province.  Christmas should be a special time for all children so we want to try and make a difference’.

In 2017, over 12,000 local children were supported by Mission Christmas.  1 in 4 children in Northern Ireland live in poverty, which could include a home with no central heating and going to bed without a hot meal, Christmas is an added financial pressure on already strained budgets for many families. 

Thanks to all Uform colleagues who are contributing to this very worthy cause this year.  All gifts will be under the tree by Monday 17th December, ready to put a smile on the faces of many children.

Eamon Donnelly Receives IKT Lifetime Achievement Award

The biennial Ireland Kitchen Trade Awards took place on Friday 30th November and Uform Chairman, Eamon Donnelly received the highly coveted Lifetime Achievement award in recognition of his contribution to the kitchen industry.

Titanic Belfast was the venue for the sixth IKT Awards which celebrates the talent throughout the island of Ireland and recognises those at the top of their profession, from kitchen designers and retailers to industry suppliers.  Receiving the prestigious ‘Lifetime Achievement Award’, Eamon, who has devoted almost 35 years of his life to the industry commented, ‘It’s an absolute honour to receive this award.  I’m privileged to lead a company which has grown significantly in recent years and my commitment to continued growth and improved service is very much at the forefront for the next chapter.  Despite some of the operational challenges we have faced recently, we’re feeling positive about the future of Uform.  We have a talented team of people who are helping to drive the business forward to ensure we continue to lead through innovative products that offer choice and value for money’.

New ‘Express’ Brochure For Uform’s Kitchen Stori Brand

Uform has recently introduced a new brochure concept to their current suite of Kitchen Stori marketing material with the launch of ‘Express Kitchens’.

This new 64 page brochure features an extensive range of standard doors and components in a range of ex-stock colours, which are referred to as ‘express colours’, a more user friendly term for the end consumer.  A range of 13 different door styles to suit all tastes and budgets forms the Express Kitchens offering as well as a selection of handles in a range of styles and finishes. 

Commenting on the latest brochure, Uform Marketing Manager, Ursula O’Dowd said, ‘We’re pleased to be able to offer this latest ‘Express Kitchens’ brochure.  We have listened carefully to the needs of our customers and developed a brochure to enable our retailers to promote a diverse selection of standard doors and components in popular colours without incurring a lead time.  Choice and convenience is key in this industry so ‘Express Kitchens’ will enable us to deliver on these elements. It’s simplistic format of two style categories; classic and contemporary, also makes it an easy selling tool for the trade’.

Uform Strengthens Operations with Two Senior Appointments

Uform is delighted to announce two senior appointments within its Operations Team.

Gary Hutton has been appointed as Uform's new Operations Director.  Gary’s career spans over 30 years, including 20 years within the kitchen industry where he has operated at a senior level in both retail and manufacturing. 

Gary will be responsible for scaling the business and ensuring the provision of a world class manufacturing and distribution facility in line with Uform’s strategic growth plans.  Having previously worked as a Lean Consultant for PricewaterhouseCoopers, Gary is skilful in driving change and implementing best practice business processes, workflow and systems.

Uform also welcomes Derek Douglas to the senior management team as Plant Manager.  Derek has built up over 25 years’ experience in the Global Manufacturing Industry with 12 of those years as Factory Manager with tobacco giant JTI Gallaher.  Derek is expertly versed in multiple functions including change management, production, maintenance, quality, despatch and material supply. Overseeing the daily operation of Uform’s growing manufacturing facility, Derek will help with aligning the strategic direction of the company and will be supporting Gary Hutton.

Commenting on the recent appointments, Uform Managing Director Simon Oliphant says, ‘We are pleased to welcome Gary Hutton to the Board of Directors and Derek Douglas to our Senior Management Team.  We recognise that as a growing business, we need to invest heavily in our Operations Team.  These two appointments are critical to the ongoing delivery of our vision, which is being easy to do business with.  With the skillset of both new recruits, we are in a position to take the company to the next level of growth while ensuring our customers are offered premium quality products and the first class buying experience they deserve’. 

Uform’s current £4million investment programme is due for completion in October 2018 resulting in an additional 50,000 sq ft.  Key areas include 25,000 sq ft to facilitate ex-stock product, 10,000 sq ft doubling capacity for loading and deliveries, 15,000 sq ft of space dedicated to a third paint line and a lean programme to improve efficiencies and reduce waste.

Uform is pleased to announce new ex-stock colours in three of its popular shaker ranges.

Following its successful launch at KBB 2018, the new Aldana range will be made available ex-stock in 5 on-trend colours; Ivory, Mussel, Stone, Light Grey and Dust Grey.

The stunning simplicity of the Aldana shaker style door is accentuated by its narrow 20mm slim solid ash frame with flat, veneered ash centre panel and visible grain.  This range incorporates a host of contemporary accessories such as plain frames, quadrant doors, an acute angled cornice and a universal post which can be used in 4 main applications, including the creation of a framed end panel feature and a mock in-frame look.

Uform Makes EK&BBusiness Awards Shortlist

Uform is delighted to be named as a finalist in the upcoming EK&BBusiness Awards which take place in London on 29th November.

Uform is among 6 companies shortlisted in the ‘Best Kitchen Innovation’ category in recognition for one of its latest door ranges, Ferro, which was successfully launched to the market at KBB 2018.  Ferro is a contemporary, 18mm MDF slab door which is offered in a choice of 6 unique metal paints to include weathered and smooth finishes. Using a specialised manufacturing technique, the metal finishes are the first of their kind to be produced in the UK marketplace due to the metallic properties in the paint itself.

Double Success for Uform at BKU Awards 2018

Uform has double the reason to celebrate after picking up two awards at the prestigious BKU Awards in London.

The company received the coveted ‘Best Overall Kitchen Brand’ accolade and ‘Best Customer Services’ award went to Key Account Manager, Mairead Woods.

In the four years since its inception, the awards programme has secured its position as a key event on the industry calendar by being the only platform for recognition that is designed for the industry and decided by the industry.

Commenting on the event, Uform Chairman, Eamon Donnelly said, ‘We’re extremely delighted to be a BKU award winner for the 4th consecutive year and to win awards in recognition of both our brand and our people, makes it even more special.  We’re very fortunate to have a dedicated and talented team and a particular word of congratulations goes to our Key Account Manager, Mairead Woods, who supports our customer base in the East Midlands & South Yorkshire region’.

Uform was also named as a finalist in the ‘Best Components Brand’ and Mark McNulty, Area Sales Manager was named in the ‘Best Sales Representative’ category.

The awards took place at London’s Tower Hotel on Thursday 21 June, with the very best from across the bathroom and kitchen sector enjoying an evening of celebration and a guest appearance from English comedian and actor, Hugh Dennis.  This year has proved a record breaking year, with a total of 513 entries and nominations and over 20,000 individual votes submitted.

Uform Supports KBB Review Rally Challenge

Uform is delighted to be named as one of the principal sponsors of the KBB Review team who are taking part in the Vado Rally 2018.

Tara McTigue, Lindsay Blair, Henesh Chotai and Deanna O’Reilly are the four daring individuals undertaking a four day drive from Dover to Copenhagen, in an effort to raise funds for two worthy charities.  It’s no normal drive though as they don fancy dress costumes and make the trek in a road-legal set of wheels worth less than £500!   Money raised will go to The Rainy Day Trust, the UK’s only charity supporting the home improvement workforce and their families in times of need, and Variety, a UK charity supporting children who are sick, disabled or disadvantaged.

Commenting on the affiliation, Uform Marketing Manager, Ursula O'Dowd says, ‘We’re proud to be able to lend our support to the KBB Review team.  It’s an excellent initiative and certainly a creative way to raise funds for two very worthy causes.  We wish Tara, Lindsay, Henesh and Deanna the very best of luck for their trek and we look forward to following their journey online!’.

The last rally in 2016 raised over £65,000 and the organiser, Vado, hopes to exceed this amount this year!  The challenge takes place between 7th & 10th June.

Uform Sponsors IKT Awards 2018/19

Uform is pleased to be named as a category sponsor at this year’s Ireland Kitchen Trade Awards which take place in November.

This year marks the 6th IKT awards ceremony which celebrates the very best kitchen companies on the island of Ireland, from kitchen designers and retailers to suppliers.  Uform is sponsoring the ‘Classic Design Project up to £25,000 / €30,000’ category.

Commenting on their support for the event, Uform Managing Director Simon Oliphant says, ‘We’re very proud to be associated with the IKT awards this year. We’re in our 25th year in business, we’ve launched a diverse range of new products and we have a growing customer base in Ireland so it seems fitting to be able to lend our support to an event that recognises industry greats’.

Uform’s Highlights from EuroCucina 2018

More than 430,000 people descended on Milan recently for the hotly anticipated EuroCucina trade show to witness the latest trends in kitchen, bathroom and furniture design.

Chairman Eamon Donnelly shares his key findings from the five day event and what he believes will come to the fore in terms of styles and colours for the kitchen furniture market….

Contemporary kitchen furniture designs were heavily on show with lots of linear styles appearing to be still very much on trend. 

Minimalist Simplicity

True handless doors were a dominant player and were shown throughout in a mix of textured and smooth painted finishes. In terms of newer styles coming through, skinny shaker doors featuring integrated handles appear to be popular and designs incorporating angled internal frames such as the one shown below.

Less was more also with lots of stands exhibiting componentry such as thin end panels and thin shelving. Open shelving was utilised significantly to add an interesting dimension and cleverly divide open plan space to partition areas into separate living areas as well as providing additional storage.

Framing systems were very dominant throughout, particularly in dark metal materials. Rows of black metal open shelving could be seen as an alternate use of the typical backsplash area of the kitchen, an effective contrast with white stone and lightly coloured industrial style worktops in some cases.

We noted lots of clear glazed metal framed door options, some featuring subtle patterned glass which worked in harmony with metal internal finishes in some cases, an aesthetic twist to a simple door style.

Eclectic Mixes

While greys, darker paint tones and understated neutrals were prevalent and continue to be in vogue, we noted subtle punches of colour coming through, namely green shades, blues and even hints of soft warm oranges in places to create extra appeal.

Veneers in a variety of different stained finishes were hugely popular and were fused with a diverse selection of finishes and textures including concretes, painted mattes and even gloss.  Notably, gloss, while still a popular contemporary choice, wasn’t a style that featured strongly in the main.

Kitchen Styling

The contemporary designs were complemented by a stunning range of trendy finishing touches to include sleek worktop styles, backsplashes and mood lighting. To inject drama to the moodiness of the darker grey furniture trends, statement lighting featured heavily throughout the show in terms of its application.  Featured internally in kitchen units, integrated into glass shelving and even used as flood lighting in kitchen island units, drawers and  even backsplashes, this highlighted just how integral lighting choice is in bringing a kitchen to life.   

Overall, contemporary was certainly the main overarching trend and true handleless appears to growing in popularity.  Fusions of materials and textures are undoubtedly adding depth to the overall design of the kitchen now and we’re seeing this more and more. In summary, EuroCucina certainly did not disappoint.  It was hugely evident that we, as a company, are very much on point in terms of our product offering in line with current trends.  We’re investing heavily in future product development for the years ahead and we’re confident that we’ll continue to lead the market in terms of innovation in design, choice, quality and value for money.

Kitchen Stori Brand Named in Two Digital Marketing Awards

Uform is thrilled to have their consumer brand, Kitchen Stori, named as a finalist in two high profile digital marketing awards.

The Northern Ireland awards include ‘Website of the Year’ at the DANI Awards and ‘Digital Project of the Year’ at the Digital DNA Awards. 

The DANI ‘Website of the Year’ award recognises websites that epitomise fantastic design, great user experience and most of all websites that have helped achieve business growth.  The Digital DNA ‘Digital Project of the Year’ award recognises teams that have delivered a major digital project which has had an impact on the wider business.  Uform enlisted the expertise of leading digital agency, Eyekiller, to design and implement an intuitive new website to help build the brand and generate new business for its network of approved kitchen retailers throughout the UK & Ireland.  

Uform Digital Marketing Executive, Ursula O'Dowd says, ‘We’re very excited to be named in these prestigious awards and be recognised among some big brands.   We’ve worked with Eyekiller for a number of years now and they really understand our business, the market which we serve and the direction of the company in terms of our growth strategy.  Since launch in October 2016, the website has overachieved significantly in terms of engagement and lead generation and we’ve received very positive feedback on the overall user experience it offers.  We wish Eyekiller the very best of luck in both finals’.

Now in its 8th year, the DANI Awards have attracted hundreds of entries from leading digital agencies and companies since its inception and this year’s winners will be recognised at the Whitla Hall, Queens University on 13th April.  The Digital DNA Awards will welcome over 500 individuals from the business, technology & IT industries at St. Anne’s Cathedral in Belfast on 26th April.

Uform Reflects on Successful First Attendance at KBB

As Uform celebrates a momentous year with a brand refresh and their 25th year in business, no one could envisage the level of enthusiasm and excitement that their first official attendance at KBB would bring to the kitchen industry.

Among one of the largest stands at the biennial event in the NEC Birmingham, the 256.5 sq metre stand impressively showcased innovation at its finest with four brand new kitchen ranges, five new stained colours and six new paint to order colours on display.

Belgravia, Aldana, Rezana and Ferro were the main showpieces and were displayed with design precision that was second to none.

Commenting on the event, Uform Chairman Eamon Donnelly said, “KBB was simply fantastic.  We are hugely delighted with the footfall we generated and visitors to the stand were inspired by our latest product offerings. As first-time exhibitors our objectives were clear, we wanted to increase brand awareness in order to further penetrate the market, and our new brand refresh was also warmly welcomed. To support our latest product offerings, we unveiled our new Kitchen Stori consumer brochure and the feedback we’ve had is incredible.  Retailers recognise the exceptional quality of our ranges, the endless choice we offer and ultimately the value our portfolio can offer to them in terms of growth opportunities for their own businesses”.

Eamon continued, “The Uform team have worked tirelessly over the last 12 months to make this event a success and we can categorically say that our stand design and visitor experience was first class. We’ve made a bold statement with our new look corporate brand through our ‘Service. Ingrained.’ strapline but this shows our commitment to delivering a world class buying experience for our retailers”.

Birthday celebrations got underway with a lively line up of entertainment by renowned Irish musician Fiddler Adam and visitors enjoyed cupcakes washed down with beer and prosecco.  To top off the evenings, visitors were treated to prize draws with giveaways including £5,000 worth of Thomas Cook holiday vouchers, luxury Fortnum & Mason food hampers and House of Fraser vouchers to name a few.

Uform has revealed a brand refresh as it celebrates 25 years in business and focuses on beyond.

Having experienced significant levels of growth over the last three years, the company recognised the need to evolve the visual identity and look and feel of the brand to mirror its market leading position.

Uform Unveils Four Cutting Edge Door Designs & More Colour Choice

Uform has introduced its latest product offering which includes four innovative kitchen door designs, 5 stylish new stains and 6 trendy paint to order colours as well as more paint to order options for existing ranges.

Raising the bar again in terms of choice, quality and value, this newest launch offers a wealth of design options with all new ranges offering made-to-order doors, drawer fronts and accessories.

Aldana is the new skinny shaker style door which is constructed from a solid ash frame and veneered ash centre panel. A modern twist on the classic shaker, Aldana is available ex-stock sanded and can be painted to order from a palette of 27 colours on a 10 day lead time, colour matching is also available. Accessories such as an acute angled cornice and made to order items such as feature frames with horizontal bars and overmantles, all work together to create a more modern feel. Aldana can also portray a mock in-frame look through the application of a new universal post, the latest design feat from Uform. The new multi-functional component can also act as a pilaster, a corpel and can be used to create a framed end panel system. Available for use on all plant on door ranges, both modern and contemporary, consumers can have that much desired framed look.

Commenting on the latest additions, Chairman Eamon Donnelly says, ‘This is a monumental launch for Uform. These ranges will help retailers take their business to the next level and this includes our new universal post. Because it can help create the illusion of an in-frame style kitchen at a fraction of the cost, this is a major selling point for the retailer so it’s a lucrative product. Cost savings are passed on to the consumer meaning they get the kitchen they want for less. The retailer can also be confident in the design & install of the kitchen as it comes without the usual technical challenges associated with true in-frames’.

Belgravia is another new door design in the form of an ornately detailed in-frame, comprised of a solid ash frame with flat veneered ash centre panel and internal moulding. Available ex-stock sanded, this door features a superb quality painted finish with visible woodgrain and can be painted to order from the Uform standard paint palette on a 10 day lead time, colour matching is also available. A versatile range of made-to-order accessories are available for a more opulent look.

Following extensive research and development, Uform has introduced the new Ferro MDF slab door finished in a metal paint and is the first UK company to produce a door finish of this kind. This new range propels contemporary styling with 3 stunning paint colours, iron, copper and brass, all of which are available in both smooth and weathered finishes. Ferro works beautifully as a feature door alongside other Uform ranges and provides endless design possibilities for both the commercial and retail markets. Exuding a high end designer look, Ferro comes with a range of made to order accessories.

Rezana is another new slab door, manufactured from MDF and over veneered in full crown knotty oak with 2mm solid edging. The door is brushed and cross scratched to further enhance its grain structure. Rezana is available as stained to order and also comes with a range of designer accessories and made to order sizes.

Uform is also extending paint to order colour offerings in their popular smooth painted matte ranges. Georgia, Florence, Strada & Zola will all be available from the standard palette of 27 colours, including the 6 new painted colours.

To complete their stained options, four new shades have been introduced which can be applied to Rezana, Tavola & Clonmel ranges.

People Feature: It All Began In a Hatchback!

Uform chairman Eamon Donnelly reflects on how he was tempted at an early age into a career selling kitchens and before long had set up his own business with his father and brothers.

My dad was building a house back in 1982 and the guy who fitted the kitchen, asked him if he would sell kitchens for him. At 47, he said he was too old and he pointed at me and said: “That young fellow there would be happy to do it.”

Well, I accepted the proposition, but advised him that I had no car. The kitchen man didn’t see this as an obstacle and said he’d sort some wheels for me. Six weeks later, I was trained and raring to go in a repaired, retro, Talbot Sunbeam, quite the car at the time.

The deal was simple, the car was mine for £1,000 and I could pay it back when I could afford it. Six months later I was the proud outright owner.

I met my wife around the same time, so Fridays and Saturday nights were spent at the local disco with regular pit stops en route to present kitchen plans to potential customers.

I never missed an opportunity to close a sale, and each successful one resulted in a sizeable 10% commission. I got a great buzz from meeting new people, learning what problems they wanted to solve and in essence helping them create their perfect kitchen. Many friendships were established at the time and these have continued and strengthened since the early days.

This exposure to business at such a young age instilled in me a desire to start a business of my own and take things to the next level. So I set up Oakwood Door Designs, now known as Uform, in 1993 along with my brothers and my late father, Eddie. Eighteen-hour shifts were the norm back then, as we worked hard to get things off the ground. We had a very dedicated team of workers behind us. It was a ritual back then to indulge in a late-night Chinese for those workers on shifts until 11pm.

In the winter months, fan heaters kept us all warm, McKenna’s bread kept our bellies full and we occasionally enjoyed the odd traditional Irish breakfast soda.

Working around the clock was a regular thing for the first 10 years in business, and the employees made this possible, with many still strongly part of the Uform team to this very day.

There is no great secret to our success in the kitchen industry. Put simply, the foundations of Uform were built on a winning combination of respect, hard work, great people and great food. Long may it continue.

Christmas Jumper Day To Support Sick Children

The Uform Team donned their festive best recently to raise money for sick children.

The company held their annual 'Christmas Jumper Day' with all funds raised in aid of the Royal Belfast Hospital for Sick Children, the only hospital in Northern Ireland dedicated specifically to the care of children.  It has 107 beds, and provides general hospital care for children living in Belfast, as well as providing most of the paediatric regional specialities for children throughout Northern Ireland.

Double Award Success for Uform

Uform enjoyed a hugely successful evening at the annual Mid-Ulster Business Awards with two award wins.

The company was named ‘Best Manufacturer’ and Chairman Eamon Donnelly was announced as ‘Business Person of the Year’ at the event which was held in the Glenavon Hotel, Cookstown.

The awards, sponsored by Mid Ulster District Council and now in their 7th year, aims to recognise the talent, entrepreneurship and excellence that exists across a range of businesses in the local area.

Uform has developed and launched a new digital marketing tool to allow retailers to keep up to date with news and updates across all their social media platforms.

With digital marketing now changing the way businesses communicate to their customer base, the company has responded to the surge in online activity by developing a ‘Uform Social Wall’ to showcase all online content in one central place. 

Commenting on this latest development, Uform Digital Marketing Executive Ursula O’Dowd says, ‘We’ve introduced this idea as a way to primarily engage with our kitchen retailers in order to further strengthen our brands online. We understand that not all retailers may necessarily be active on particular social media channels so with this one web link, they can still see what we’re up to as a company without having profiles of their own to log into.  Our Social Wall brings together content from our trade brand Uform and our consumer brand Kitchen Stori so our trade customers can see how we tailor our messages to reach the end consumer which in turn, helps support their growth as a business’.

The Uform Social Wall can be accessed at http://socialhub.uform.co.uk/ and features a responsive design for tablets, smartphones and desktops, with the most recent posts displayed at the top of the screen.  It can also be accessed from the footer of the company's trade website, www.uform.co.uk.

Uform Makes London Stock Exchange List

Uform is named in the prestigious ‘1,000 Companies to Inspire’ lists within Britain and also Europe.

The annual lists, compiled by the London Stock Exchange and financial technology firm DueDil were published on 5th September 2017 and are a celebration of some of the fastest-growing and most dynamic small and medium sized enterprises in the UK and in Europe.

Uform is listed within the wholesale sector of both lists and makes the grade based on its consistent high growth over the last three years with turnover increasing by an impressive rate of 46.3% from FYE 2015 to FYE 17. 

Uform Managing Director, Simon Oliphant commented, ‘I’m extremely proud that Uform has been recognised as one of 1,000 companies to inspire Britain and more impressively Europe in 2017.  Our success and performance over the last few years has been driven by our passion to bring innovative, premium quality product to market which offers retailers value for money and a point of difference through our consumer brand, Kitchen Stori.  The company has grown 23% from the previous year with turnover reaching £18.6million for the financial year end 2016.  We’re very clear on the strategic direction of the company as we aim to increase our market share in the UK and grow revenue to £40million by 2020, so it’s a hugely exciting time for the company and our people.”

Uform's offices and factory will be officially closing for the Christmas holiday on Wednesday 20th December and will re-open on Tuesday 2nd January 2018.

Please take note of the following cut-off dates for ordering and despatching pre-Christmas:

SPECIALS / MADE TO ORDER: Any new orders for specials / made to order products must be received by Thursday 23rd November.

PAINTED PRODUCTS & REMEDIALS:
Good News! Customer’s feedback is important therefore we have extended our painted cut off times by an extra week. Historically, the cut off for painted orders would have been Monday 20th November to guarantee delivery before Christmas and this year we have pushed this back to Monday 27th November. Orders for painted remedials must be placed before Friday 8th December.

There will be a TNT service available for remedials.  All orders for this service are required before 11am for that day's despatch

Uform Announces Attendance at KBB 2018

Uform will be appearing at the upcoming KBB 2018 exhibition, marking the company’s first appearance at the UK’s largest trade event for the KBB industry.

Taking place in Birmingham’s NEC from 4th – 7th March, the company’s 244.5 sq metre stand will showcase a range of innovative new product developments including new styles and new colours.

Commenting on the event, Uform Marketing Manager, Sara Cotter explained, ‘This promises to be our biggest ever event both in terms of the size of our stand and the ranges we will be introducing to the market.  Details on what’s in store will remain secret until then but we’re confident that visitors to the stand will not be disappointed.  Emphasis will also be on the overall Uform experience and we’ll be reinforcing why we’re a market leader in our industry.   2018 is a momentous year for the company, not just in terms of product introductions and ongoing investments but we’re also celebrating 25 years of serving the KBB industry so we’re hugely excited about what lies ahead.’

Uform Completes Major Expansion Creating 40 New Jobs

Uform has completed a £3m expansion of its premises, creating 40 new jobs in the last year. Part of the investment was funded by Danske Bank.

Currently the business is distributing upwards of 1,000 kitchens a week for retailers in the UK and Ireland.
The latest expansion is part three of a four phase development to help the business reach the targets set out in its strategic plan.

Simon Oliphant, Managing Director at Uform, said: “Three years ago we started working on a long term plan to grow the business.  With phase three recently completed, we have added another 60,000 sq. ft of additional factory space, bringing our premises to 122,000 sq. ft. We’ve carried out two major factory extensions and invested in two new state of the art paint lines.  The technology is a first for our sector in the UK and Ireland and will greatly increase our efficiencies, capacity and quality whilst adding significantly to our product portfolio. Enhancing our Kitchen Stori brand is critical to the ongoing success of the company.”

He added: “The company has grown rapidly with turnover increasing from £8.6m to £22.8m in four years.  Danske Bank have been instrumental in supporting the scaling of the business. Whilst the company could have self-financed the investments, the funding has allowed for accelerated growth and provided a level of certainty and confidence to move forward aggressively. In addition, the extended facility they provided to address currency fluctuation has been well received. We are exposed to significant Euro fluctuations but the bank’s FX risk management offered short to medium term certainty for customers offsetting some of the costs.”

Discussing the plans for phase four, Mr Oliphant said: “We have some additional land surrounding our current facility so we will be looking to further extend the factory and improve our distribution centre.  We have also set ourselves a target of reaching a turnover of £34m by 2019 which we feel is a realistic goal.”

Brian Shane, Corporate Banking Manager at Danske Bank, commented: “The latest expansion to the Uform premises is a vote of confidence in the sector and local area by the Donnelly family.  The growth of the business in the last four years has been remarkable and shows no signs of slowing down.

“The company has set itself very ambitious growth plans for the next two years and we are delighted to be working with them to help achieve these goals.”

Team Uform Gets Sporty For Thrombosis UK

Uform put their fitness to the test recently by organising and participating in a charity football match in order to raise funds for leading charity, Thrombosis UK.

Over 52 members of the Uform workforce formed 6 teams and played against each other at the nearby Meadowbank playing fields in Magherafelt, Mid Ulster.  Thrombosis UK works to raise awareness of the risks, signs and symptoms of VTE (venous thromboembolism) and to support research into the prevention and best management of VTE.

The match was organised by Uform Senior Buyer, Michelle Doyle who commented, ‘We’re delighted to be able to support Thrombosis UK.  Sadly, one of our fellow colleagues recently suffered a personal family tragedy as a result of a pulmonary embolism so we wanted to try and do something positive as a team to help support this hugely worthy cause.  We’d like to give a special mention to Rocwell Natural Mineral Water for sponsoring the water bottles on the night and also for their generous donation.  Thanks also to those team members who took part and in particular our colleague Niall McQuillan for co-ordinating the pitches & teams.  We raised £400 which will go towards much needed research and awareness.’

Uform’s Consumer Competition Winner Receives £10,000 Kitchen Prize

Carole Hill, winner of Uform’s consumer social media competition, has recently had her £10,000 prize designed and installed in her Liverpool home

To mark the recent launch of Uform’s consumer website, Kitchen Stori, one lucky winner was offered a new kitchen of their choice.  In conjunction with Kitchen Stori retailers, Arrow Kitchens & Bedrooms of Wirral, Carole decided upon the classic Wakefield shaker style range and chose two contrasting paint colours for added style. 

Carole comments, “I loved the Wakefield range when I first saw it showcased on the Kitchen Stori website.  I wanted something fresh with a contemporary twist and I really liked the painted tones so I settled for a mix of Light Grey & Gun Metal Grey.  The end result is fabulous, I am absolutely delighted with how it has turned out and I must commend the team at Arrow Kitchens & Bedrooms for all their hard work during the design and fit. Thanks also to Uform for such as fantastic prize and I look forward to spending many happy days in my new kitchen.’

Uform’s Biggest Ever Launch Delivers Unparalleled Choice for Retailers

Uform has taken choice and innovation to a whole new level as the company unveils the biggest product launch in its 24 year history with 20 new options.

Following extensive research, the award-winning distributor is introducing a new PVC shaker range, chic handle-less styles for gloss and matte finishes and additional colour offerings in its gloss and matte ranges, along with new lighting options under its Kitchen Stori brand. 

Kensington, 5 piece Shaker

Of the many new products on offer, the Kensington door is the latest contemporary shaker incorporating a slight twist with a chamfer in its internal profile.  This door style comes with 2mm end caps to give the illusion of timber.  Its innovative design combined with its MDF wrapped frame in a unique Alkorcell PVC foil results in a beautiful woodgrain finish.  The door is constructed in five individually wrapped pieces, reducing the risk of delamination.  Plain glass frames and quadrant doors are just some of the components available, allowing end consumers to accomplish a stunning kitchen at a fraction of the price.  Available in four popular ex-stock colours; ivory, light grey, dust grey and mussel, Kensington can also be painted to order from a palette of 24 colours on a two week lead time. 
 

Even More Choice in Matte

With matte finishes hot on trend, Uform has strengthened its portfolio with the introduction of a new matte version of its highly acclaimed Zola range.  Zola matte is an 18mm MDF slab door which is finished in matte PET lacquered laminate, an environmentally friendly recyclable material.
During the manufacturing process, the MDF is sanded to ensure the surface is super flat and humidity is increased to over 90% to create an atmosphere free from dust particles, meaning little to no defects, giving a silky smooth finish.  With the rear side melamine and a 1mm colour matched ABS edging applied using colour co-ordinated PU adhesive, this creates edging that is barely visible, ensuring no delamination and the prevention of moisture ingression.  CATAS certified, this latest range has undergone rigorous testing against the harsh common elements a kitchen is exposed to daily, namely heat, steam, humidity and stains and has gained full marks on all tests.  This gives end consumers peace of mind that this kitchen can truly stand the test of time.  Available ex-stock in white, dust grey, light grey and porcelain, the Zola matte range achieves a premium look with a modern edge.

Three additional ex-stock colours have been added to the Strada handle-less matte range also; dust grey, graphite and white are the latest shades to join mussel, light grey, stone and porcelain, a trendy palette which can be mixed and matched for a high end designer look. 

Following its hugely successful introduction to the market in 2015, the smooth painted shaker ranges in Florence & Georgia are now available in graphite and dust grey on a 3 week lead time; in addition to current ex-stock colours; porcelain, mussel, stone and light grey.  This carefully chosen palette will also allow for colour combinations to create something a little different. 

 

True Handle-less Components for a Linear Look

To meet the growing trend towards true handle-less kitchens, Uform has introduced a Gola rail system and compatible door and accessory sizes in Zola Gloss and Zola Matte slab and Tavola (slab door which features horizontal woodgrain).  This latest move allows retailers to serve the increasing demand for a clean, contemporary, minimalist appearance and the handle-less ranges are available ex-stock in the following colours; white, porcelain, light grey, dust grey and graphite.  The handle-less offering will enable gloss, matte and woodgrain textures to be fused together for an ultra-chic kitchen, a style which is very much in vogue.

 

Additional Gloss Colours

Uform’s fashionable gloss offerings; Zola and Strada, are now available in two new colours, graphite and porcelain, taking the colour offering up to 7 beautiful ex-stock shades including white, ivory, light grey, cashmere and dust grey.

Team Uform Takes On Marathon For Children’s Charities

The Uform Team are taking to the streets of Belfast this May Day Bank Holiday, all in aid of two brilliant causes!

15 guys and girls are donning their running shoes to complete the arduous Belfast City Marathon for TinyLife and NDCS, the National Deaf Children’s Society.

TinyLife is Northern Ireland’s premature & vulnerable baby charity, dedicated to reducing premature birth, illness, disability and death in babies.  NDCS is the leading charity dedicated to creating a world without barriers for deaf children and young people.

With three teams, we have representatives from all departments within the company to include Procurement, Finance, Marketing, Customer Services, Business Development, Operations & Sales.

Uform Team Undertake Marathon Challenge
Their intensive training programme has ramped up a gear so we’d like to wish the following colleagues the very best of luck as they undertake the 26.2 mile course!

  • Team 1: Gavin Gribbon, Michelle Doyle, David Kennedy, Eimear Cassidy & Caroline Toner. 
  • Team 2: Aiden Doherty, Keeva McErlain, Seamus McGuckin, Chelsea Brown & Martina Neeson.

Uform Reduces Lead Times of Painted Timber Ranges

To meet the increasing popularity of painted kitchens, Uform is delighted to announce a reduction in lead times of paint to order ranges to 10 working days, plus next despatch day and painted to order remedials on a 5 day lead time.

This latest development has been made possible by the company's commitment to supporting the growth of its retailers through a £3 million investment programme due for completion in Spring 2017.  An increase in production capacity and revisions to shifts patterns in the workforce, coupled with a lean manufacturing programme has resulted in various efficiency gains for the painted range in the market leading Kitchen Stori collection.  This latest investment includes polishing and sanding equipment and additional warehousing to accommodate new product ranges launching in May 2017, details of which will be revealed soon.
 
The new lead time will be available for all orders placed from today. Please note, this excludes specials & Essentials made to order items.

Uform Announces Winner of £10,000 Kichen Stori Consumer Competition

Competition Winner revealed!

For a number of years Chris McAuley from our IT Department has devoted his time to become Santa Claus for the festive season - this year he required some extra help in the form of additional elves. Two Uform employees, Michelle Doyle & Eimar O'Connor assisted, Santa this December, at the Cancer Fund for Children's magical grotto.

Slieve Gallion Defeated

Area Sales Manager Mark McNulty successfully completed 90 miles of his 120 challenge on Slieve Gallion this December.
Mark’s training in the weeks before the event helped some way to taking on the trek in the snowy, mountainous conditions and freezing winds. He took on this challenge in aid of local charity Buddy Bear. To date Mark has raised an amazing £2,450.00.

Uform named “Best Supplier” of the year at IKTG Awards 2016

Uform has continued their awards success at the Ireland Kitchen Trade Guide (IKTG) 2016 awards, scooping the prize for Best Supplier of the Year. The IKTG awards night, which is held every two years and recognizes the successes of the best companies within the kitchen industry in Ireland, took place at the iconic Titanic Belfast on 25th November 2016.

Lots of well known names from the kitchen industry traveled from all over Ireland and the UK to attend the glamourous event, which marked the end of the awards process from entries through to final judging.

Reflecting on the evening’s triumph, Uform Chairman Eamon Donnelly said “To be awarded Supplier of the Year in such a competitive industry is an absolute privilege for our company,” said Uform chairman Eamon Donnelly. “We’ve had a wonderful year in terms of company growth and success so this latest accolade really is testament to the strength of our position in the Irish marketplace.

“We have a very clear strategic plan for the next three years which will see us complete a £3m investment programme in early 2017 to accommodate additional warehousing for increased offerings in terms of styles, colours and finishes, as well as product diversification to complement our ranges,” he added. “I’m also extremely proud of our people and we look forward to even further accomplishments in the future.

Uform Strengthens Existing Ranges With Additional Colours & New Accessories

Market leading kitchen door & component supplier Uform is pleased to announce a number of innovative new product developments by way of additional accessories and colour extensions for current ranges under their consumer brand Kitchen Stori.

October 2016 will see the addition of a trendy dust grey wihtin their popular Zola and Strada Gloss ranges which will allow retailers to create contrasting combinations with other colours from the Uform gloss families.  In addition to this, a new pair of door sizes have been added to the recently launched Zola Gloss range, a 570mm x447mm and a 715mm x 273mm will both be available from October also.

To further strengthen their core competence of painting in-house, the company have also introduced 7 new paint colours which will be available from October 2016.  After extensive research into market trends on what’s currently in vogue, the Uform painted pallet will now offer a diverse range of 24 colours, to include the following latest shades; Summer Rain, Light Teal, Parisian Blue, Shell, Suede, Marine & Gun Metal Grey.

In addition to this, new made-to-order doors and accessories have been added to their market leading Essentials Collection; Madison, Jefferson & Wakefield.  These will be available on a 3 week lead time plus next despatch day and will give retailers creative licence to design aspirational kitchens at a price the end consumer can afford. 

Commenting on the latest product enhancements, Uform Chairman Eamon Donnelly says ‘We’re delighted to be able to bring these latest additions to our retailers.  We listen very carefully to their needs and monitor market trends closely in order to continue to innovate and lead the market when it comes to new product design.  These additional colour offerings coupled with new accessories will give our retailers even more choice when creating kitchens for their end clients.  Other additions include a new 645mm x 597mm door size for all door ranges and a newly designed plate rack to suit all plate sizes'.

Eamon continues, 'We’re now also offering a new 3 week lead time on specials.  Spring 2017 will see the completion of our £3 million investment plan which will increase warehousing and painting capacity and this is paving the way for aggressive new product introductions and an enhanced paint to order offering.  It’s certainly very exciting times for Uform as we take the business to the next level of growth and this latest investment will enable us to be even easier to do business with’.
