Uform Expands with New Sales, Marketing & BDU Appointments

Uform is delighted to announce nine new appointments within the business in the areas of Sales, Marketing and Business Development, with roles spanning the UK & Ireland.

BDU Appointments:

Maria Lopez Alonso – Head of Business Development

After previously working for a local manufacturing company for the past seven years, Maria Lopez Alonso joins Uform as Head of Business Development. Maria brings with her expertise in Sales and Customer Service Team Management, Strategy and Budget planning as well as Product Innovation.  Maria will manage the Business Development team who are responsible for generating new business and onboarding new customers.

Stephen McIlroy – Business Development Executive

Joining Uform as Business Development Executive for the North East / Scotland, Stephen McIlroy will be responsible for winning and growing business in his region. With previous experience in Business Development, Stephen brings with him strong communication, negotiation and organisational skills that will be vital to his new role.  Stephen will be working closely with the BDU team to generate, identify and grow new and existing accounts.

Paul Robinson – Business Development Executive

Paul Robinson joins Uform as Business Development Executive for the South Central GB region. With seven years’ previous experience in Sales and Business Development working for a leading media agency in the North West, including a period with Sinc Kitchens, Paul brings with him strong negotiation and networking skills. Working as part of the Uform BDU team, Paul will be responsible for generating new business by identifying and qualifying new accounts, as well as continuing to grow the accounts that already exist in his region.

Sales (All Area Sales Managers) Appointments:

Paul Simms – Area Sales Manager (North East / Cumbria / Scotland)

Paul Simms joins Uform as Area Sales Manager for North East / Cumbria / Scotland with 25+ years’ experience across a range of sectors including a period with Elite Interiors. Bringing with him a broad knowledge of kitchen and bedroom installation as well as Regional and National Sales Management, Paul will be responsible for managing and growing sales within the independent showrooms and trade manufacturers in his territory.

Louise Herterich – Area Sales Manager (North West of England)

Joining Uform as Area Sales Manager for North West of England, Louise Herterich has spent the last 19 years working in the home appliance industry. Louise will be responsible for managing existing key accounts, developing new business and providing a high level of customer service to retail and trade customers.

Corin Smith – Area Sales Manager (GB Northern Home Counties & East Anglia)

Corin Smith joins Uform as Area Sales Manager for GB Northern Home Counties and East Anglia. After spending the past 14 years working in various roles across the KBB industry, including being a kitchen designer for both the contracts market and direct to end consumer, Corin brings with her a wide knowledge that will be advantageous to the role.

Micheál Concannon – Area Sales Manager (West of Ireland)

After spending the past 15 years working in the furniture industry, including 10 years as an Area Sales Manager, Micheál Concannon joins Uform as Area Sales Manager for West of Ireland. Having previously worked as a Buyer for EZ Living Furniture, and prior to that an Area Sales Manager for Bentley Designs (UK) Ltd, Micheál brings with him an advanced knowledge of the market. Micheál will be responsible for managing existing accounts as well as the management and growth of customer relationships to meet the companys’ commercial, strategic and sales expectations.

Marketing Appointments:

David Bell – Content Marketer

David Bell joins Uform as Content Marketer. After previously working for a global cycling and outdoor sports e-commerce retailer for the past eight years, David brings with him a wide knowledge of copywriting, media production, content creation, SEO optimisation and photo-imaging. David will be working closely with key functions across the business to develop tailored content for both trade and consumer brands, including planning and shooting video content, blogging, photography, copywriting and email marketing.

Shaunagh Devlin – Kitchen Stori Brand Manager

With over 10 years’ experience in marketing across a diverse range of sectors including Home, Interiors and Manufacturing, Shaunagh Devlin joins Uform as Kitchen Stori Brand Manager. Shaunagh will play a key role in executing the rebrand of the current Kitchen Stori consumer brand, both to trade audiences and to homeowners, and working on brand awareness initiatives in addition to the launch and management of the new Retail Partner Programme.
