Uform Unveils Winner of Spring ‘Real Projects’ Campaign
Uform is delighted to name Brookwood Kitchens as the winner of the ‘Real Projects Spring’ Campaign based on a classically designed kitchen in Markethill, Co. Armagh.
This seasonal campaign is dedicated to showcasing the expertise of Uform’s approved network of independent Kitchen Stori retailers throughout Ireland, in partnership with the leading consumer title, Ireland’s Kitchen Guide.
Our team at Uform carefully assess every project submitted based on materials used, innovation and ergonomic design. The team at Brookwood exceeded expectations, creating a classically styled kitchen for this homeowner in Markethill, delivering on their vision through Uform’s popular Wakefield range.
A traditional door style, Wakefield boasts a distinctive beaded centre panel and rich woodgrain, perfectly complementing the character and style of this home. The colour scheme in this space incorporates core colours of white, black, and walnut, with subtle hints of steel and bronze. The cabinetry in this kitchen features an on-trend neutral white shade, matched to a well-known paint company using Uform’s Colour Match Service. Striking a harmonious balance in colours, this space has been further enhanced with nickel handle knobs, walnut cabinet internals and timeless accessories such as bar stools and lighting fixtures.

Planned to perfection, the Johnston’s kitchen is full of design elements that ensure everyday living is effortless. Symmetry and practicality became key design elements in this space, ensuring that this kitchen would stand the test of time, Kitchen Designer Kerrie Gass commented, “This has become a very important aspect in many designs. It can make a huge impact aesthetically. Overcoming this challenge led to a kitchen that is not only functional but also visually striking.”
Each wall in this kitchen showcases a distinctive feature, the back wall includes windows symmetrically positioned on either side of the mantle, highlighting the Lacanche cooker and mirrored splashback. Plain frame doors soften the space and create a space for mood lighting on either side of the bi-folding doors, which opens to display a breakfast bar, home to glassware, crockery, and the coffee machine.
Opposite the breakfast bar, full-height cabinetry opens to reveal a larder cupboard, providing ample storage shelves and compartments including spice racks and bread drawers, perfect for keeping the kitchen clutter-free.
There are details everywhere you look in this space, from the cornicing on the cabinetry to the panelled end gables and framed posts on the island, each adding elegance and character to this kitchen.
