Our management team

Uform has an exceptional team of experienced people who are dedicated to understanding and supporting the needs of our customers, ensuring the highest levels of customer satisfaction.

Simon Oliphant

17 years with Uform, Simon is responsible for shaping and delivering the strategic plan and over the years has helped to successfully scale the organisation whilst ensuring world class service levels.

Simon Snoddy

20+ years within senior finance positions for Uform & other PLC’s. Responsible for all Group financial & tax reporting matters. A Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland having practiced as a Senior Manager with PwC.

Wes McKenna

20+ years’ experience in Sales & Marketing including senior positions for leading retail brands in the FMCG sector, namely Nestle & Coca Cola. Responsible for the sales, marketing and category functions, to include the creation and execution of the commercial strategy to support sales growth.

Gary Hutton

Responsible for all operational activities within the Group including warehousing, logistics, manufacturing, finishing, health and safety, product quality and service. 20+ years’ experience within the Kbb industry in addition to general management roles for blue chip companies including PwC.

Philip Woolsey

26 years of leadership experience in manufacturing businesses across several industries. Responsible for leading and developing the Production Team to achieve continuous improvement in safety, quality, service, and cost metrics, ensuring exceptional value for customers.

Dan Winchester

30 years sales experience in the kitchen and bathroom industry to include distribution, retail, manufacturing and specification. Responsible for leading the GB sales team to support customer acquisition and growth.

Oliver Phelan

25 years’ sales & leadership experience nationally and globally within the banking, telecoms & construction sectors.  Leads the Irish Sales Team in ultimately supporting customers and ensuring the delivery of exceptional products and services. Responsible for the creation and execution of strategic sales plans to facilitate growth.

Sharon Logue

26 years’ HR experience, including senior positions.  Responsible for the people strategy across the Group including employee engagement, wellbeing, development, recruitment, reward and employee relations.   A chartered member of CIPD.

Andrew Cooper

3 Years with Uform including 20 years’ experience in supporting and developing IT systems and software for manufacturing, warehousing, and logistics. Honours Degree in Electronic and Software Engineering from Queens University Belfast.

Paula McAleese

6 years with Uform. Responsible for the management of the Group Finance function including budgeting, cashflow management and financial reporting. Experience across a range of sectors including construction, retail, and energy. A Fellow of the Chartered Accountants Ireland.

Ursula O’Dowd

15+ years marketing experience across construction, quarrying and manufacturing industries. Oversees the marketing, promotional and advertising activities of the Uform Group, to include its B2B and B2C brands.

Richard Gates

14+ years’ experience in the kitchen industry with roles covering Marketing, Branding, Product Development and Category Management. Oversees the development & management of a market leading product and service proposition.

Chris Irvine

25 years in procurement and materials management in all aspects of supply chain management including purchasing, planning, scheduling, manufacturing operations and inventory management.

John Totten

30+ years’ experience in senior management roles in manufacturing & distribution organisations. Currently oversees all activities associated with the smooth running of the warehouse facility.

Maria Lopez Alonso

7+ years experience in Business Development to include the management of Sales & Customer Service departments. Responsible for overseeing the Businsess Development Team to ensure sustained growth through creating and nurturing new business opportunities.

Martina Neeson

30 years experience in Sales and Customer Service. Responsible for sales order processing, resolving queries, keeping customers informed of new products, offering samples, quote follow ups and
supporting Area Sales Managers to deliver excellent customer service

Michael Warnock

9 years with Uform to include experience in logistics and warehousing. Responsible for the management of day-to-day logistics, despatch & packaging, with a particular focus on continuous improvement to further enhance service levels.

Roy Calderwood

20+ years’ experience within FMCG manufacturing and warehousing environments. Responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a largescale warehouse to include staffing, machinery, and fulfilment of customer orders.

Paul McCollum

35+ years experience in manufacturing, primarily in Quality Management, Project Management and Continuous Improvement, across automotive, FMCG and Materials Processing industries.
Responsible for the development and management of Uform's Quality Management System.

A typical day would involve Key Account Manager duties in terms of customer support in addition to onboarding new members of staff into the department and reporting on a series of KPI’s.

A positive culture exists within Uform and the company’s aggressive growth plans makes it a great place to work.

In my current role, I oversee the logistics function to include the packaging and despatching of product.  A typical day involves liaising with Team Leaders to help prioritise tasks, project meetings focused on specific objectives such as improvement processes and dealing with our external logistic partners.

Knowing that the products I check end up in people’s homes, gives me pride that homeowners can enjoy the ranges that we supply.  

I have been part of the Uform team now for over 30 years.  I start my working day at 6am and this typically involves running thorough quality checks on customer orders which are due for despatch.  This involves a series of checks to ensure products are clear of defects and are of the required standard before leaving Uform.

We have a very collaborative culture, we work together, share ideas and support one another to achieve our goals.

I initially joined the Uform team in July 2005 through an Invest NI Placement Programme and was offered a full time position the following year.  In terms of my role, my days really vary depending on timelines in relation to the Product Introduction Cycle.
