Can you tell us about the vision behind this project?

From the very beginning, the aim was to create a kitchen for the clients, that felt distinctive without compromising on everyday practicality. 

Some bold structural changes, including exposed steel beams, became an integral part of the design. Pairing those industrial elements with soft painted cabinetry created a beautiful contrast that gives the space real personality. 

What inspired the Madison Vintage Pink and Slate Blue colour combination?

Everything started with the homeowner falling in love with Vintage Pink. 

Initially, they were considering a more traditional grey kitchen, but after exploring the STORI colour palette, Vintage Pink completely changed the direction of the project. It immediately felt like the perfect fit for the space. 

Slate Blue was the natural companion, adding depth and contrast while complementing the warmth of the pink. Together, the two colours create a kitchen that’s elegant, welcoming and full of character.

How did you approach designing the kitchen around the homeowner’s lifestyle?

Our role was to bring the homeowner’s vision to life by combining the flexibility of the STORI collection with our own bespoke cabinetry solutions. 

The brief was to create a kitchen that looked beautiful but worked effortlessly for everyday living. A large island provides generous preparation space and additional storage, while the dedicated coffee station offers a practical area that’s always ready to use. 

One of the standout features is the concealed entertainment room. It gives the homeowners a separate space to relax and entertain while maintaining the clean, uncluttered appearance of the kitchen. 

How did the Uform collection help bring the design to life?

The Madison range gave us the flexibility to bring our design vision to life while meeting the practical requirements of the project. 

Its painted solid wood construction delivered the premium quality and craftsmanship we were looking for, while the breadth of colour options allowed us to create a scheme that felt both distinctive and timeless. 

Just as importantly, the complete collection offered consistency across every element of the design. From doors and end panels to plinths and finishing details, every component worked together seamlessly to achieve a refined, cohesive result.
