Uform Appoints General Production Manager

Market leading kitchen door & component supplier, Uform is pleased to announce the appointment of a new senior role within its Operations Team.

Philip Woolsey joins the company as General Production Manager and will be responsible for the management and development of all production related functions to ensure continuous improvement and delivery of operational objectives.

Philip has amassed over 25 years of experience in the manufacturing industry.  Previous roles include Managing Director of global packaging company Greiner, and General Manager of Huhtamaki in the UK market, serving globally renowned brands such as Nestle, Pepsico and McDonalds.

With a strong track record of commercial results, Philip has extensive experience in business strategy development, product development and operational excellence.

Commenting on Uform’s latest appointment, Head of Group Operations, Gary Hutton says, ‘We’re pleased to welcome Philip on board as General Production Manager.  Philip will initiate and lead change in operational procedures, practices, and cultures to help us maintain a world-class manufacturing operation. It’s an exciting chapter as we near the completion of a £3.4million expansion plan which will feature additional paint line capacity and warehousing space to facilitate continued growth.
