Uform Engages in Design Discussions at London Event

In July 2025, Uform along with Abode and Johnson Tiles, joined Neolith, at the exclusive “Meet the Brands Shaping K&B Design” event, hosted at London’s vibrant Material Lab. More than just a showcase, the event offered a valuable opportunity to hear directly from clients, architects, designers, and industry partners about the evolving landscape of kitchen and bathroom design.

One of the most insightful takeaways was the growing shift in surface preferences. Conversations throughout the day confirmed what many in the industry are already seeing—a move away from high-gloss finishes and cooler tones, in favour of matte textures and warmer, earthier colour palettes. These finishes not only offer a more natural, tactile feel but also bring depth and richness to modern interiors. For Uform, this trend underscores the value of continued innovation across its offering—from its comprehensive paint colour options to its choice of finishes, ranging from soft-touch matte to richly textured woodgrains—ensuring designers and consumers alike have access to a versatile, future-ready palette that reflects evolving tastes and lifestyles.

It remains central to design innovation and material selection, with architects and specifiers increasingly focused on ethical sourcing, environmental certifications, and long-term performance. A final highlight in UK interiors is the rise of stone drenching with sintered stone, which is now extending beyond bathrooms into kitchens, bedrooms, and living spaces. In kitchens, it’s being used for countertops, splashbacks, and even cabinet cladding for a sleek, cohesive look. Bedrooms are seeing sintered stone in feature walls and furniture accents, while living areas incorporate it into fireplace surrounds, wall cladding, and tabletops. This trend reflects a growing preference for materials that combine luxury, durability and low maintenance throughout the entire home.
