Warehouse Operative – Goods Inwards
We are currently recruiting for a warehouse operative within our Goods Inwards Department to join our team at Uform. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing activities including the unloading/loading of deliveries, receipting of product, product inspection checks, including special size products in accordance with company requirements, and the assembly of wardrobe orders upon demand. The role will report to the Business Unit Manager and will cover the hours of 12 noon – 9pm Monday to Friday.
The ideal applicant should possess the following key attributes:
- 1-3 years’ previous experience in a busy, fast-paced warehouse environment, preferably in a Goods Inward role
- Counterbalance, picker, pallet stacker experience is desirable, but training can be provided
- Experience of loading/unloading deliveries
- Physically fit and able to lift products during the assembly of wardrobe orders
- Demonstrate the ability and willingness to work flexible and/or demanding hours as determined by the needs of the business
- IT literate as a product booked via scanners using the company WSM system
- Able to work both on their own initiative and as part of a team to complete daily tasks
- Good attention to detail
- Good communication skills
