Church Street Development with CEK Kitchens and J&L Build Ltd
Project overview
Uform is delighted to welcome an exciting new collaboration with J&L Build Ltd in association with CEK Kitchens in the supply of kitchen ranges for six new homes in Edmonton’s Church Street development.
Located in the bustling town of Edmonton in North London, the Church Street development is home to a variety of nearby transport links for commuting, a shopping centre, restaurants and green spaces, providing residents with plenty of flexibility for both working and socialising.
The developers opted for the Zola Soft-Matte door range from Uform’s contract portfolio, a modern slab range in Light Grey & Cashmere, two of seven popular ex-stock colours available from this smooth matte foil door. The Zola Soft-Matte range is both durable and affordable and offers easy maintenance, making it an ideal choice for any contemporary build.
CEK Kitchens selected Uform’s Gola handleless rail system to transform the design into a true handless style. Providing a minimalist and sleek look, the Gola rail system is a perfect match for any modern kitchen space. Topped off with striking herringbone flooring, Bosch appliances and as well as task lighting above the countertops, the six new units in Church Street development are fully equipped for the demands of contemporary living.
With two runs of cabinetry at right angles along adjacent walls, CEK Kitchens cleverly designed this space using an L-Shaped kitchen layout. A very popular solution, particularly in smaller kitchens, L-Shaped kitchen layouts such as this one create a neat working triangle with the hob, sink and fridge strategically placed, allowing homeowners to benefit from seamless aesthetics and maximum functionality.

Commenting on the development, CEK Kitchens Project Manager Mikayla Bell says, “We were approached by the client to design a modern sleek layout that housed essential integrated appliances. Zola Soft-Matte was a clear choice with the added benefits of using stock door colours for shorter lead times and a perfect colour matched carcass keep the design cost effective without sacrificing the overall look. The darker Gola rails brought depth adding style for a more attractive impression for new tenants.”
Uform’s National Contracts Manager, Jamie Abbott adds, “We take great pride in our commitment to exceptional service, quality, and choice for our contract customers, and participating in a project such as Church Street in Edmonton highlights our dedication to these values. With a diverse selection of door styles, finishes, and colours, we provide designs that meet a wide range of preferences and budgets.
Our network of approved contract partners specialise in the specification, design, and quoting for residential projects, offering crucial support to developers, architects, and specifiers to ensure that projects are completed on time and to the highest standards.”
